2012 SCHEDULE OF MEETINGS

The Township Council of the Township of Bridgewater, County of Somerset, State of New Jersey, hereby designates the attached Township Council Meeting Schedule as the dates of its regular and agenda meetings, and unless otherwise modified by resolution of this Township Council, such meetings shall commence at 7:30 P.M. and shall be held in the Council Chambers (courtroom) in the Municipal Building at 100 Commons Way, Bridgewater, New Jersey, where action at the regular or agenda meeting may be taken by the Township Council.

Except as hereinafter provided, notice of regular and special meetings of the Township Council shall be posted 48 hours in advance on the official bulletin board in the Bridgewater Township Administration Municipal Building, 100 Commons Way, Bridgewater, New Jersey.

The Courier News and The Newark Star Ledger, circulating in Somerset County , are hereby designated as the two newspapers to receive notices of meetings of the Bridgewater Township Council.

A copy of this resolution, together with advance notice of regular and special meetings of the Bridgewater Township Council shall be filed with the Township Clerk.

Any person may request, in writing, that the Township Council mail a copy of the schedule of regular meetings of the Bridgewater Township Council and/or advance written notice of regular, special or re-scheduled meetings of the Township Council.  Upon prepayment by such person of the applicable fee hereinafter set forth, such schedule and/or advance notice shall be mailed to such person.  All requests made pursuant to this paragraph shall terminate at midnight, December 31 of the current year subject to renewal thereafter upon the filing of a new written request to the Township Council.

All advance notices referred to in this resolution, of regular, special, re-scheduled meetings of the Township Council shall, to the extent known, include:  (a) the agenda and (b) those matters upon which formal action may be taken.

Upon the affirmative vote of 3/4 of the members present, the Bridgewater Township Council may hold a meeting without compliance with the notice requirements of this resolution, if to delay such meeting for the purpose of providing adequate notice would be likely to result in substantial harm to the public interest.
