Bound Brook Water Company Monument. The concrete monument, 4" x 4" concrete post
marked "BBW" at the bottom of Drew’s stairs was set
by the Bound Brook Water Company to mark the edge of their property. This property was
later acquired by Somerset County, so the monument now marks the boundary between Somerset
County and Bridgewater Township parklands.
Continuing on, the Middle Brook trail eventually leads to Washington Valley Park, one
of Somerset County Park Commission’s natural area parks. Vossellor Avenue is the
current eastern end of the Middle Brook trail.
