Gateshead I Open Space. The cluster subdivision
Gateshead I was developed in 1988 by George Collins. This subdivision has given 7.09 acres
to the trail. This open space is located south of the Middle Brook and provides access to
Gateshead Drive.
Gateshead Access. Access is allowed from Gateshead
Drive, on a narrow strip of Township owned land. Please be respectful of the residents'
privacy if you use this, or any, access point.
Gateshead Sanitary Sewer. The manholes seen in this area are part of a
sanitary sewer collector constructed by the developer of the Gateshead subdivision.
Collector sewers act as the local streets of the sewer system and collect sewage from
individual homes and carry it to the trunk sewers. The cost of sewer lines built by the
developer is charged to the homebuyers as part of the sale price of the house.
